Hospital Newsletter

Hello again from my desk here at Pineville Pet Hospital.

It has been entirely too long since our last newsletter, but I still feel that it is nice to do our own little place rather than a site prepared by a third party, so time will always be a problem, I suppose.

I would like to take a moment to update you on our hospitals "up grade" and expansion.

The new front counters are installed and in use. All of our new hospital expansion areas are essentially finished and in use.

We have added additional computer stations throughout the hospital facilitating a work efficient ergonomically adapted environment.

We have installed and use digitalized radiography (x-ray) equipment. This allows much more manipulation of each view thereby getting more information from each film. We have been approved to electronically submit our OFA films for review making this a much faster streamlined operation. Also, we can email radiographs (x-rays) to specialist for quick review if needed. If you would like a copy of your films you can request and they can be burned to a disk for a reasonable fee. Although you cannot manipulate the film as we can you can view the pictures with any picture viewing program on your computer.

We are planning an integrated web site that will offer internet purchase options and streaming video in the not too distant future.

Our use of ultrasound technology continues to increase and we feel strongly that this will continue to improve our ability to help pets even more.

As the weather cools and holidays approach don't forget yours pets monthly heartworm preventative. Also if you travel please let us help you by caring for your pet in our new all indoor climate controlled facility where you get a FREE bath any time your pets stay with us for three or more days...Just a token of our appreciation for being allowed to serve you.
